Join our team at Ideaport Riga
Mid-Senior Technical Architect

At IDEAPORT RIGA we are implementing and extending CRM platforms focusing on User Experience. We have been providing consulting and outsourcing services for 15+ years for our clients in Finland, Sweden, the UK, and more. Right now, we are 80 engineers working in a flat structure, and together we try to create a healthy workplace for all of us.
Instead of using technical requirements, we prefer to say what we believe in
The client is an international bank and its wealth management branch. The project goal is to extend the existing Financial Services Cloud application with the new functionality and integrations.
You’re a hands-on engineer who loves diving deep into tricky problems (think GraphQL schema design, query-planner tweaks, and observability hooks) and surfacing with clear, pragmatic solutions. You translate business goals and enterprise guidelines into technical blueprints, prototypes, switching effortlessly between whiteboard diagrams and pull-request reviews. You explain trade-offs in plain English, advocate for Clean Code and DevOps best practices, and keep your curiosity razor-sharp while staying humble enough to change course when the data says so.
Your #superpowers should include:
Strong proficiency in the Java ecosystem, including frameworks, libraries, and tooling
Designing solutions that effectively meet both functional and non-functional requirements. #keep-growing
Experience working with system and service integrations, including both synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar platforms
Strong communication skills to confidently engage with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and present technical solutions clearly
Ability to explain complex ideas in fluent, professional English and tailor the message to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proactively shares knowledge, fosters collaboration, and supports the growth and success of fellow team members #be-supportive, #take-initiative
