We are now looking for a passioned System Administrator (Middle/Senior) who will help maintain and improve our internal IT environment, support colleagues, ensure infrastructure quality, and proactively strengthen our security and operational processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily L1/L2 IT support to colleagues (Mac & Windows): troubleshooting, ticket handling, root-cause analysis, and timely resolution.
  • Own endpoint management with Microsoft Intune: device enrolment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application packaging/deployment, update rings, and reporting.
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365: user/group management, access reviews, role-based access control, mailbox and collaboration basics (Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive).
  • Support efficient onboarding/offboarding: account provisioning, device setup, access to apps/resources, and secure deprovisioning.
  • Maintain and improve Azure environment(s): subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, key services used internally, monitoring/alerts, backup concepts, and cost awareness.
  • Maintain security baseline: MFA, Conditional Access, device compliance, least privilege, and coordination of security actions with internal stakeholders (incl. ISO-related checks).
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory (devices, peripherals, warranties, lifecycle stage) and software/licensing records; ensure inventory is always audit-ready.
  • Manage device lifecycle: purchasing support, refresh planning, spare pool, repairs, disposal/wipe procedures, and cost-effective recommendations.
  • Maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and manage work via Jira.
  • Support office IT fundamentals: Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity troubleshooting, basic network equipment coordination, and vendor escalation when needed.
  • Proactively identify improvements to stability, security, automation, and user experience across Azure/M365/endpoint operations.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a System Administrator / IT Administrator / Endpoint & Cloud Admin role.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure + Entra ID + Microsoft 365 administration (including RBAC/roles, groups, access management).
  • Strong organizational skills: documentation discipline, inventory accuracy, structured approach to changes.
  • Ownership mindset: ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and propose improvements.
  • Practical experience with Intune for device management and application deployment.
  • Strong workstation troubleshooting skills (Windows and/or macOS) and understanding of modern endpoint security concepts.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN concepts, Wi-Fi basics, troubleshooting).
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence (or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with DevOps or cloud automation tools.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Latvian (both a must at least B2 level).

 

Nice to Have:

  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent Azure administration certification
  • Experience with ISO standards (participating in audits, maintaining documentation, supporting security compliance).
  • Security-related certifications (ISO/IEC 27001, CompTIA Security+, AZ-500, or similar).
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) (or equivalent Azure architect-level certification).
  • Knowledge of automation or scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with vendor communication and negotiating cost-effective IT procurement.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric (e.g., OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory in Fabric, Power BI integration).
  • Familiarity with modern Azure data platform services: Azure Data Factory / Synapse / Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL (DB/MI), Cosmos DB (basics).
